1968 Brabham BT23C Formula 2 / Frank Williams

The 1968 Brabham BT23C-7 was fielded by Frank Williams in the 1968 FIA Formula 2 championship, driven by BRM Formula 1 driver Piers Courage. In June 1968 the car won the Monza F2 race at the hands of Johnathan Williams.

The BT23C-7 is powered by a 1.6 liter Cosworth and produces 225 HP @ 10,000RPM. It weighs in at 952 lbs. (432 kg)

In 1998 Restoration was begun in Britain by Simon Hadfield and finished by Kerry Adams in late 1998. Bobby Rahal brought the BT23C-7 to the USA in 2001. The car has been owned and driven since 2008 by Ted Wentz. The Britt Doerr and Ted Wentz prepared car has since been 2008 Monoposto Classic F2 Champion, 2009 Monoposto Classic F2 Champion and SVRA Group 2 Champion.
